I have been married before, my fiance has not and wants a 'somewhat traditional' ceremony. I wanted a very small ceremony, if anything, but felt it was important to consider that he wasn't the one who'd made the mistakes. :-) He wants the church, the dress, the friends, the cake, etc. Tho relatively small.
I didn't feel comfortable in a traditional wedding dress, so my fiance and I selected a yellow almost prom-style dress (full skirt, no train, beaded bodice) and satin gowns in different colors but similar with slight beading for the attendants (he wants 3 - and honestly, this wedding is for him with a few "twists" to make me less uncomfortable with a "real" ceremony again). Other than the kind of odd colors, it will be a pretty traditional ceremony, in a church, etc.
Do you think this will be alright for a wedding?

Dear Bright,
Sure, as long as the colors look good together. Don't worry.
Enjoy.
