I am a 55 yr old Protestant divorcee and he is a 58 yr old Catholic widower. He has to get married in a Catholic church for the marriage to be valid, in the eyes of the church, and my marriage has to be annulled. We are ok with that and it is in hand , however, the idea of tripping down the aisle in a fancy gown gives me the heeby jeebies and I so I wonder if I could wear the kind of outfit I would wear to my daughter's wedding- straightish knee-length dress and jacket or what...? Help My hair goes funky under a hat, unless I don't take it off.. any ideas for wedding attire?
