My husband and I have been married 3 yrs. and are planning on renew our vows (have a formal church wedding) in the next 2. We didn't have the big or even small wedding. As we were planning the our wedding I got pregnant so he and I went to TN and got married there (not exactly what I planned what my wedding to be). I had bought my wedding dress before all this happen. I wanted to know if I could wear the dress because it's white. I thought maybe if I could get a seamstress to add some color (like beads) to it. I just really wanted to wear the dress I never got a chance to wear but since it was white I didn't know if I should. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!!!! [:)]

The dress you select for your renewal ceremony can be white however the style is where you'll want to focus your attention. Typically, vow renewal ceremonies are not as formal as weddings so be sure that your dress style matches the renewal in formality and style.

Agreed. Also, please remember that this is not necessarily considered a gift giving event.
